No. sync2garmin is independent. It uploads rides to your Garmin account the same way as the Import Data button on connect.garmin.com. Garmin, Wahoo or Dropbox can change their services at any time, so the sync can stop working, and we may switch it off.
No. You type it once, our server uses it to sign in to Garmin, and it is gone. We keep only Garmin's access token, encrypted. You can disconnect at any time.
Your sync2garmin login and your Garmin login are the same address. That is how we know which Garmin account a ride belongs to.
No. Each file is processed in memory and never saved. We keep only a short record of each ride, such as its date, Wahoo profile and upload status. Your files in Dropbox stay untouched.
Wahoo's folder belongs to Wahoo's own Dropbox app, so we have to ask for read access to your Dropbox. We open only the Wahoo folder and we can't change or delete anything.
No. Only rides that reach Dropbox after you connect it.
ELEMNT computers that upload to Dropbox through the ELEMNT Companion app. We test with the ELEMNT ACE.
