1. Who we are

sync2garmin is operated by the operator of sync2garmin.

2. What the service does

sync2garmin picks up ride files that your Wahoo ELEMNT computer saves in your Dropbox, processes them and uploads them to your Garmin Connect account, with the ride type you chose.

3. This is not an official service

sync2garmin is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Garmin, Wahoo or Dropbox, and it does not use an official Garmin upload interface. It signs in to Garmin Connect on your behalf and uploads rides the way the Import Data function does.

4. Your account

• You must register with the e-mail address of your own Garmin Connect account. It cannot be changed later.
• You may connect only accounts that belong to you.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

5. Connecting Garmin and Dropbox

By connecting these accounts you authorise us to sign in to Garmin Connect, upload rides there, and read your Wahoo folder in Dropbox on your behalf. You are responsible for checking that this is allowed under the terms of Garmin, Wahoo and Dropbox. Those companies may limit or close access, including to your accounts, and we have no influence on that.

6. Free rides and paid plans

Each e-mail address gets 5 free ride uploads. Rides that Garmin already has are not counted. Rides above the limit wait until your plan allows them. Paid plans and their terms will be described here before they launch.

7. Availability

We do not guarantee that the service will be available or work without errors. Because it depends on services we do not control, it can stop working, be limited, or be switched off at any time, temporarily or for good, with or without notice.

8. Liability

The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for rides that are lost, delayed or uploaded incorrectly, for how Garmin calculates your metrics, or for any action Garmin, Wahoo or Dropbox takes on your accounts. Nothing here limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time in your panel. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page.
